SUMMARY:Bowenwork Pop Up with Sheila Hatch
DESCRIPTION:Bowenwork is an extremely gentle form of therapeutic bodywork that resets all the fascial tension patterns in the body. Since fascia wraps around every individual part of the the body (nerves\, muscles\, joints\, organs\, etc)\, Bowenwork can impact the entire body. Clients frequently experience a decrease in pain\, increase in range of motion\, and elimination or management of other symptoms\, even when the injury has existed for years. In some cases\, the impact of Bowen has even provided an alternative to surgery. Because fascia wraps around our autonomic nervous system\, Bowenwork impacts our emotional well belling too! Clients have repeatedly experienced significant reductions in anxiety\, depression\, stress\, and burnout.\nIn a typical session\, people wear loose clothing made out of thin material and lay down on a massage table. Bowenwork is administered in a set of extremely gentle rolling moves (called protocols). There is typically 2-5 minute waits between each protocol. In a clinic style event\, there are 3-4 clients receiving Bowen at a time. Other clients receive Bowenwork during your wait periods. It’s advised to hydrate well after a session and do some gentle movement to further integrate the work.
